The difference between a website and a landing page

Did you know that MacDonald spends on average $1.91 to get your feet in their store..?
And when a $2.09 burger’s sale is made, they only make $0.18…
but watch… where it gets interesting, when they walk you up their value ladder by upselling fries and coke for $1.77 more, they make a little bit more profit, which is estimated around $1.32 per customer.

That is right, almost 8 times the initial amount, interesting isn’t it, the concept behind this sale system is called a Sale Funnel, also known as The Burger Marketing
you might be saying, OK Ulrich , what you have just said makes a lot of sense and what does that have to do with me. This system applies to any business, whether you have a brick and mortar Business or an online business.

The problem I have found is, a lot of businesses invest on advertisement and break even at the end of the day, the reason for that is the loophole in their sale system, which does not allow them to scale.
You need to do what MacDonald does and set up a sale’s System but now instead of having people go through your physical store, you can set up a sale’s funnel online in order to automate this process.
Obviously in your sale’s process you are not going to sell Burger, unless you sell burgers but you will just need to replace it with your products or services and when it comes to the upsell stage you can upsell your product and services.
At this point you now have a clearer picture of a sale’s funnel, but now what should you do before using it and what type of funnel’s should you use for your business?

What Type of Sale's Funnel should you use?

Sale’s funnels work with any products or services whether you are selling information products, supplements, physical products or services, there is a funnel for you.
There are different types of funnels based on your business, example, Sale’s funnels for authors, speakers, course creator, coaches, consultants, Ecom, retailers, service based businesses( this includes lawyers, Chiropractors, Dentist, Realtors, Sale’s team and any other type of businesses you might think of).
The Primary goal of a sale’s funnel is to take a customer through a journey with your offer. The special ingredient about it, is; you can put all your sales processes on autopilot.
I will now outline how top companies like MacDonald, make big bucks using sales funnels processes.
This sale’s model has a shape of a funnel as an example where the prospect usually begins at the very top end of the funnel and is then gradually taken through steps with different offers.
Every sales Funnel respond to a basic concept called AIDA( Awareness, Interest, Decision and Action). The journey from a prospect to customer does differ based on your persona, niche, type of product or services.

WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES BEFORE LAUNCHING A FUNNEL LIVE ?

WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES BEFORE LAUNCHING A FUNNEL LIVE ?
I am sure you have heard this quote a thousand times ”a tool is only as good as his user”, so before diving into your funnel’s building process, it is imperative you have a clearer picture of your targeted Audience, marketing strategy and Business.
Understanding your funnel can help you find the loopholes in Your system, the stages where prospects or customers drop out and never convert the way you intended them to, hence here are 4 stages of a sale’s funnels which need a real consideration before going live with it.
Awareness, Interest, Decision and Action, also known as AIDA.
These 4 steps represents your customers mindset. every single stage requires a different approach from you.

Awareness
it is a stage where you present your solution to your prospects. At this point they will become aware of the problems they need to solve and potential ways to solve it.
This is where they have had a chance to visit your website/landing page through your Facebook, Google or any other advertisement platforms.
it could also be from a shared post on Facebook.
Interest
is this stage whereby the prospect is actively looking for solution to their problems. it is intentional and is classified as intend based marketing.
Google and YouTube are one of the best platforms where you can get searches on your content.
Decision
In the stage your prospect is finally making their mind about your solution or offer. Here Sales offer can be made using sale’s page, webinars with very strong calls to action or phone calls…etc
Action
is the stage where your prospects are becoming customers, by sealing the deal with you, signing the contract, clicking the purchase button and then making the money transfer to your bank account.
it is important to note that you can add more stages to your sales funnel.
Retention
is the stage where you need to nurture your relationship with existing customers in order to have them as repeated customers and convert them into your brand advocate.
Word of mouth, Social sharing is a powerful force and no one can do it better than a happy customer.
nurturing the relationship has always been the way for keeping the customers happy and you can do that in many ways such as, Emails, Special offers, Surveys/outreach and follow-ups, Product guide and tech support.
